3rd gen and 4th gen struts

Don't no but guess the will bolt up, however.
Do you have the part number of the struts?
For Toyota parts it appears a Gen 4 strut part number is the same for both generations but a Gen 3 part number changes such as for front struts 92-94, 95-96.
Check Monroe part numbers at sites such as Rockauto. The rear struts appear the same but the front part numbers are different.
Guessing a slight design change was made to the strut to make a Gen 4 backward compatible. Perhaps a mounting bracket for a brake line or ABS that a Gen 4 had different.
