I have a '96 4 cyl. with 95K miles& plan to replace the front axles (boots are torn & plenty of grinding/clunking when turning sharp). Any suggestions on axles source / brand? I've seennew Cardones for around $65 each - but spoke with a guy at Raxles & he certainly didn't recomend the Cardones. His are around $120 each. Thanks for any ideas.

 

Visited the Raxles website but did not learn much. Are these new axles, rebuilt?

I have the same Cardones you write about on both sides going on about 25K miles, no problems yet.

Would not get a rebuilt axle as too much junk, often these fail within just a few miles..
