Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost to repair a cracked rim. The crack is not severe, i would describe it as a hairline crack, but apparently its bad enough that its leaking air out of my tire.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. sigh* time to look in the yellow pages...

wow- well i wanted to get all 4 of my wheels painted in roman gold and redo the small curb rash on one ov them so the shop i called charges about $140 for the rim repair.

 

The cost of repairing a rim can be as much as the price of a new one. If it's cracked, you will definately want a new one.

 

Dammit i was afraid of someone telling me that it cost just as much as buying a new rim. I'm not really sure on what to do yet. I was thinking of selling these rims on craigslist if the fix would be too costly. And these tires havent even been broken into yet, such a waste.... [sm=headbang.gif]
