You can go to tirerack.com and enter your vehicles make, model, year etc. and they will give you a recommended wheel and tire size.

Your best bet is sitting down with a local wheel shop and they will be more likely to be able to tell you just how much wheel you can and cannot use as they deal with this every day. I also recommend talking to folks that use various size combination and get feedback from them on their wheel change experience.

When a cars ride is engineered by the manufacturer, the tire size is part of the equation. The tire size is about 10% of the rides equation I am told??
