Smaller wheels on '12 SE V6
I'm looking at putting winter tires and steel wheels on my 2012 SE V6. Right now I'm running P225/45R18 all season tires on the stock 18' wheels, but I want a dedicated winter tire/rim combo.
tire rack and a couple other websites show a 215/60R16 & 205/65R16 setup as a recommended 16' alternatives.
Anyone have any insight or experience doing this? I'm mainly concerned with having enough clearance for my braking system. The 16' setups have 1.9999% and 0.69% error for the speedo, so they're both minimal effect.
