You should be able to do this.

The issue could be how this effects handling, braking, etc. These might offset any the style gains.

my plans were to do 20x 8.5 in front and 20x10 in the rear but they are tellin me that it would rub in the back

 

Try the sites listed. The TN site has a lot more members, many whom do tire mods.

The Tirerack site sells tires. Might email or call and ask about the tire clearance issues.
