I have an 86 camry and my suspension is shot.

my question is, can i take springs/struts from another car and use them? i want to lower it just a tad and have a stiffer ride. just wondering.

If you want to lower the car you will need lowering springs. The internet is a good source to start looking.

 

believe me ive looked. very hard to find springs for a first gen camry.

Never heard of swapping springs to lower Camry but doesn't mean it is not possible.
