When my 2003 Camry wouldn't start I tapped on the starter with the handle of a screwdriver about 3 or 4 times and then it started. Do you have someone that can tap on the starter with a wrench while you turn the key to crank it?
A re-manned starter can be bad right out of the box. I bought a new one from Amazon and haven't had any problems starting.

I did try tapping the starter while cranking, it didn't start up. It was the OEM denso starter thats at 165k. Ive basically replaced every other part, including the starter relay, the mechanic that I always use thinks its most likely that the starter is just bad right out of the box.

I wanted to buy a denso one, but it would have taken a few days to arrive, and would have been a remanufactured one anyways... So I just went and grabbed the most expensive one they had at Autozone, which is a duralast reman... they didn't have any new ones for sale.

no problem. I also checked the 2 fuses that deal with the starter, and both were in good shape. I did replace the starter relay with an OEM from the dealership, the old one looked off ( I broke the top off of it to see if it was burnt out). I have a feeling that the bad battery mixed with the corroded terminal wires caused a bunch of stress on the system. Im hoping it's just that the dumpy Autozone starter was bad out of the box. I'll know by tomorrow and come back and write out what happened incase anyone has similar issues in the future.

Have someone push the car and pop the clutch in second gear. If engine doesn't turn or start then you have bigger issues.

So youre saying that the bad battery, the corroded battery cables, the bad starter, the bad starter relay weren't the actual problem?

It was an Amazon link to a starter that I purchased. Search Amazon for starter. The brand is IronTree.

I wouldn't send a phishing link. Try this.

For some reason this site directed me to a phishing site after clicking the link you included. Im good, i already purchased this one, and it has a 'warrantee'. If im gonna order a new one I know how to do so.
