Default 2011 toyota Camry XLE Tire Pressure Monitoring

So i bought a 2011 Toyota Camry XLE. I drove it home and on the way the TMPS light comes on. I brought it to the tire center and they replaced two tire sensors. they tried to relearn them to the car and could not. they told me to take it to a mechanic. so i did some research and i decided to replace the Control Unit. so the light went out after that and it came back after a day. so i took it back to tire center and they were sucessful in getting the light to go out. but it came back on the way home again. All Four sensors scanned good but i am stumped. i was going to replace the reciever but i was not sure how often they go out. i believe it is located behind the driver on the frame. any help or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

rtlantz,

The first question is whether the TPMS light is sold or blinking. If the TPMS light on your dashboard is solid, this is an indication of a tire pressure problem. A tire may be over inflated or under inflated. If it's blinking, then its most likely an issue with one or more of your TPMS sensors or the system. My second question is whether the maintenance facility checked the spare tire. A Camry spare tire could have a TPMS sensor.

T
he Light will blink for approx 1 minute after i turn the car on, after it will stay illuminated. I checked the pressure in the tires and they are all approx 35 PSI.

My second question is whether the maintenance facility checked the spare tire. A Camry spare tire could have a TPMS sensor.

I checked the spare tire and inflated it to 60 lbs. that is the recommended pressure printed on the tire. it did not appear to have a sensor.
thanks for your reply.
