We need more or more aggressive moderators . I have seen atleast 6 threads started by spammers trying to sell something and also a few replies to threads with spam in them .

Yep, these can really ruin a good forum! I'm on some media player forum and it is useless now. 100's of spam messages a day. They need to install some Bulletin board spam protection add-ons.

Also some spam add-ons don't even seem to work. So I don't know how these spammers are bypassing some of them.

 

yep, I also notice that. I suggest hire more moderator who has lots of time on the web.
