Default Replacing Radiator

I own a 2004 Camry 4 speed automatic with 175,000 miles on her. Purchased the car in Jan of 2012 (5 years ago) with 49,000 miles on her. My daily commute to and from work is about 90 miles round trip.

The radiator has plastic fittings and I live in SE Louisiana (think hot....like living on the surface of Venus HOT in the summer). I figure the radiator is probably close to the end of its service life given her age and operating conditions and I can either change it at my convenience or the radiator's convenience. Had a radiator fail on my way home from work a few years back and it was not a good day.

This evening I purchased a Murray radiator and a Murray thermostat at O'Reilly's along with upper and lower radiator hoses made by Gates and plan on swapping them out this weekend.

Probably should have asked this question BEFORE I purchased the parts but was just wondering if anyone has had any experience (good or bad) with these particular replacement parts from O'Reilly's?

Thx

had no problem with murray or gates products

fans and radiator come out as one

so you don't hole a new radiator
use cardboard to cover aluminum parts of the radiator on way back in

On the plastic tank radiators. The plastic can degrade with time and usage resulting in hairline cracks. These can turn into large cracks and leaks.

Gates is good.

Have probably used Murray but can't remember as have shopped at O'Reilly's/Shucks for a radiator.

Suggest if the radiator has a life time warranty to keep the receipt. Had one fail soon after installation but forget which brand.
