99 Camry Doesn't hold RPMs
Sometimes when you start my sisters car it doesn't hold it's RPMs and you need to keep your foot on the gas until it does. No warning lights are on so what could be the cause Could the gas cap loosing vacumm the problem because at times the light did go on and off few. When they checked the computer said O2 Sensor but she yelled at it one day and the light went off just in time for inspection

1st guess is idle speed control valve. It can be removed and cleaned. Also, check harness and plug, and any vacuum lines to it, if any.
that has all been checked and everything is fine . Yeah she took the car to mavis tire for inspection and get her tires rotated and the light was on so failed . Day before took it back she yelled at the car and threaten to buy a new one , next morning the light was off and it passed . Someone said it sounded like the gass cap wasn't closing all the way and come to think it seams to happen when tank is less that half. So bought new cap and well see.

first I ever hear loose tank cap cause bad idle. Seriously, you TOOK IDLE SPEED VALVE APART AND CLEANED IT? besides tugging on wires and hoses on it? took me about an hour to do it, and I sorta know my ways around cars.
Also, your sis should start day with same routine - yell out that vehicle. Threats and such. Apparently works well.
