i keep closing the backseat i wanted to see what it looked like when it was down i.e. connects to the trunc, this is a sedan LE...
but now one seat will engage the lock and the other seat does not engage the lock, i tried with a screw driver the lock will close
i.e. where the bar on the back seat fits into there, but it pulls right out
i need to get fixed to risky for my kids to ride back there.. is this an expensive fix? any ideas on what to do? thanks scott

 

Might try asking at the Toyotanation site for the year of car.

For other Toyota have needed to slam the seat back into place to have it finally latch tight. Just pushing was not enough to get it to lock.
