ok i'm 16 i have a 98 camry le 4 cyl. i'm looking for pretty much any type of head lights or tail lights besides stock. preferably smoked. does anyone know where to get some or anything i know you can get them for 99- 01 but for my car i would have to cut my bumpers.

Oh yeah, I've got a 2000 Camry I4. There are tons of options...but sadly, as time goes by there are fewer. I have angel eye headlights and altezza taillights. I'll try to post some pictures in the next day or two. Just do a search online and you'll likely have to sift through all the hits to find which one of all the options you want.

I'm not sure why you need to cut your bumpers? All '97-'01 Camrys (as well as Avalons, Solaras, & Lexus ES300) have essentially the same body. Did you find a set of lights with instructions telling you to cut the bumpers? You're right to be wary of this.

Finally, be careful with smoked headlights since my understanding is they're not street legal. If you ask the police for a copy of the regulation (don't just ask their opinion), you'll know for sure. I've ended up wasting some money on a few illegal mods I mistakenly made (on parts & citations).
