Since the new cars have the airbag under the steering wheel, where are you guys putting holsters and what kind?

 

What year Camry do you have?
I have an 07 and I have been thinking the same thing. I've been thinking of doing something custom with the little pocket on the side of the console.
There doesn't seem to be enough room under the dash for a magnet and the holster under the steering column doesn't seem to have enough room either.

 

2016 and it has a knee airbag now where I used to have a holster under the steering wheel

 

I would look at mounting to the center console or on the side of it. There are some mounting options for taking a simple holster and then affixing it to the side of the console.
Check out youtube for some ideas.

 

I tried the little trap door charging station in front of the gear selector but the G19 is just a tad too long. I have been looking at inside the center console. Thanks for the help

Around here if caught by LEO being loaded in the car and NOT on your person, potentially bad things can happen.

 

I've been living in the Land of No US Constitution for decades, Illinois. So I know about stingy gun laws But it is legal for a CCW holder to have a gun in his/her vehicle as long as it is not visible. Tinted windows and under the steering wheel was hidden. So now I guess I am left with the console which makes for a harder draw

 

Maybe a G43 would fit in the in charging area
