My wife put the luggage in the trunk and now the radio will not work? It only has static on it, it comes on and will tune to different stations but no sound only static? Please help!

I work at a Toyota dealership. Radio issues in newer Toyotas are very common. This however is an odd issue.. Maybe the wires for the speakers got hit and shorted? or possibly the antenna cable got unplugged, stretched or broken. If it is still under 36,000 miles, or within 3 years of the delivery date it should be under warranty, but you must consult with a toyota dealership for warranty details.
