Question Sony Radio Doesn't Work

I just bought a 95 Camry LE. The car came with a Sony stereo installed with an in-dash CD player and AUX inputs for an MP3 player. Everything works on it except for the radio. The antenna will go up when radio is selected so I know that part's properly connected, but all I get is static. What could be causing this? Thanks.

The antenna motor has its own power wire. The motor can run without larger antenna cable being connected to the radio.

Find out if the antenna cable is connected at the radio and antenna. To access the antenna remove the trunk liner on the side of antenna.

The link below may provide info on accessing the radio.

The cable plugs in at each end.
