I have just recently purchased a base model LE 2009 Camry and want to add ignition switched 12 VDC in the TRUNK as is available in higher models.... I think...

Does anyone happen to know if there IS switched 12 VDC in the trunk somewhere and they have simply not added the extra socket etc. ? Need only few AMPs to run a Bluetooth GPS that I wanted to locate on the rear window deck... nice and tidy...

If not, I might have to make a dealer visit with a screwdriver and a volt meter to see how they have done it factory.

Can you determine if the car offer a trunk mounted CD player or other options. Check the owners manual. Look around in the trunk for extra plugs, etc.

There was a front/rear power plug but not sure if this is just the back seat.
