Kay, so i installed the speakers today (which was a treat) and i have one question. They were rated pretty high by customers on crutchfield so i think they just need broken in, but is it normal to have some distortion when you first hook them up? If not, im gonna have to pull them back out and check that i did everthing correctly. The only place that i can think of that i might be having a problem (if its not a break in thing) is the crimp where i had to extend the wire harness for the rear speakers (which is where the distortion is coming from, i think)

oh yeah, they are 5 1/4" kicker 5250's

they dont need to get broken in...your radio might not be giving them enough power thats why there is distortion...whats the rms of the speakers and the rms of the head unit

the rms range is 6-35 watts. Its the stock head unit, which im replacing next (no idea what the output is on that) so if thats all it is, that should solve my problem

Yea I think thatd be the problem, I had that issue with an old subaru legacy, and when I got my camry the first thing in there was a radio. I installed the speakers and it all sounds great.

..I just gotta modify the rear deck so my speakers will fit properly...

Time to operate again...

Please dont act childish we are all hear to help one another! By the way your accusing someone of stealing your post on how to remove speakers. It's not like you posted a thesis on atomic theory. There are 63 billion people that know how to remove those speakers so you are hardly saying anything that isn't common knowledge. Take your pride and put it under your back seat! NO ONEis stealing your post!

Forums are for info sharing...stop bickering please or else. haha[:@]

I've posted instructions with photos up before but i cannot find them anymore. You can even google search and come up with your answer.

93camryxle's vague but correct instructions are what you have to do. Search around and you should find your answer in multiple threads. Thanks.
