Default Alpine door speakers

Hey I have a 2005 Camry it has four 6x9 speakers. I bought alpine type-r speakers but I was told that the magnets were to big to fit in the door. I want to stick to alpine but alpine does not make a slim line of speakers. What speakers would work with my door?
Thanks,
Nathan

You can fit them no problem. Just take the factory speakers from the doors and place them on a sheet of 3/4 MDF. Then trace an outline and cut. Drill holes that match up with previousmounting hole location and you have a perfect 3/4MDF spacer. You can then use the factory screws to mount the spacer. I actually did this on my car with 3/4" MDF and 1/2"MDF to give an extra 1.25" mounting depth. I used wood screws to mount the spacer and the speakers to the door.
