Default Bluetooth/USB to Android 2015 Camry

I hope someone here can figure this out. I'm usually pretty good with tech, but this isn't working how it seems it should.

My GF has a 2014 Camry. Shes been using a small ipod nano for music since she got the car. It's worked fine, but the ipod recently died and she's decided she'd rather go to a different audio source. Her music library is on a PC, using Muscbee as a media player. The smartphone she uses is often full and doesn't have space for her music library. So after doing some searching and digging for options, I found a number of people recommending to use a pre-paid tracfone. I got her an LG Journey (model LG L322DL) for $30, and an SDcard to hold the music. I've updated the phone to android 10,synced the music to the phone using Musicbee, and have installed Media Monkey on the phone. I can play music on the phone with no issue on bluetooth headpones.

When we plug it into the audio USB port where the iphone was, doesn't detect the phone as a media player. It does show it's charging the phone. So I connected it via bluetooth. It finds the phone, but she doesn't get the "browse" button to find an artist, album, or playlist, and it only works if she has Media monkey on the phone running. It will only let me browse or stop/start the music using the app on the phone. I can use the steering wheel controls to skip, but that's it.

Doing some digging, almost everything is saying to install the entune app on the phone. Two problems: one, every review on the app store says it quit working in Aug, and two, it says the phone isn't compatible with that version of entune. I also read that the entune app on the car may need updated, but since I can't install the app on the phone, that doesn't seem to be an option.

As a test, I connected my samsung S10 via bluetooth and am getting the same result, and it's running android 11.

I plugged her ipod back into the usb and it works fine. Is there something else I'm missing that needs to be done on the car, or the phone?

Good day. 🙂
I need your advice.
My car Camry V55 2015
I have long been thinking to replace the original car stereo, and install Android.
I do not like the original system, on youtube I found information, also a product that fits.
Found this option, the product seems good to me, wanted to check with you who have already installed it similarly.
Do you have a similar experience?
Thank you.
P. S. I am no some spammer just need some help with it because without experience, thank you for understanding))

Hey, OP. Saw a vid on YouTube about this issue. Can you look at it and tell me if it is a real thing? Also, how did you solve this problem anyway?
