Default GPS and Rear view Camera

I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if I make and gaping errors/omissions.

I have an 06 camry, without the navigation. I wanted to upgrade my car with a rear view camera (as we have little kids running around our neighborhood and I believe its a must have safety device). Does anyone have any recommendations for a unit? I would prefer to have the camera monitor located in the rear view mirror or the visor as my GPS will most likely take up the dash space.

I guess that brings me to my next question--purchasing a GPS! I looked at Cnet.com for advice, and most people seem to recommend the Garmin NUVI or the TOM TOM--but all of these reviews are from 2006. I want to spend around $300-400 on my system. I would really appreciate if you guys could suggest a model for me.

Thank you so much!

Default RE: GPS and Rear view Camera

I bought the Magellan $400 unit from Best Buy. Probably could have found it cheaper online, but it was an impulse buy. But I'm happy with it. As far as the rearview and camera goes, here's some cool ones: http://www.ecarsecurity.com/Rear-Vie...p/rvm-600w.htm http://www.beachaudio.com/Pyle/Plm10...CID=C12585x003

You can get a monitor and camera at Target for $100, but you get what you pay for.
