questions about 2011 and 2009 Camry radios
Hi,
I own a 2009 Camry LE (4-cyl) with a radio in it that has AUX in.
My father owns a 2011 Camry LE (V6) with a radio that looks almost the same but it has a black digital display instead of a grey digital display. The 2011 also has a USB input that support and iPod and ability to browse artists names, song titles and so on on the black display.
My questions are:
- what would the part number be for the 2011 radio in my dad's car?
- can this 2011 radio be installed in my 2009 Camry? (They look like they are the same shape and size.)
- what would the part names/numbers be for the cables, AUX/USB inputs and the storage compartment that houses these inputs from the 2011?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Rob

Suggest checking photos on Ebay for a unit that matches then checking the P/N based on the ad info.
The radio should fit. Keep in mind some radio have remote amps, others are built into the radio.
The open area below the radio is called console panel sub-assy.
Might also check Ebay for the cables.
