2011 Camry SE accident fix....questions (radiator and condenser)
Hi,
I was in a measly 4 mph accident, my hood got crushed and bumper...and so forth.
Took it to the USAA 5 star recommended body shop. They basically replaced everything in the front of my car. I have a number of complaints which they will have to deal with because their fix is guaranteed for life but here goes.
They replaced the radiator and condenser. When I turn on the A/C, it now takes 4 minutes for the air to become cold.
I have had the car for 4 months, and i'm 99% sure it never took more than a minuted to get cold before.
Is this something to be concerned about, any advice appreciated.

I don' t know. Not an AC expert!
Might start by making sure the AC compressor is working when you first turn on the AC system, the compressor cycles on and off in part to control air temp.
The air is not going to get cold until the compressor turns on.
Issues that might cause your problem:
Low freon
The shop failed to properly evacuate the AC system.
The shop used a smaller or less efficient condenser.
Might review your concerns with a competent AC shop.
