Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Vifa and or Pierless are incredible speakers. You will pay alot more than if you bought an american brand but, your sound quality(not always volume) will be impecable. Also, the only thing remotely close to sounding as good that is a US company is probably MB Quart.

For my car you had to take apart the inside door pannel in order to get to the speakers themselves. From there you are able to unscrew the stock speaker, and replace them with the new ones. But like all mods in my gen4 some customization WILL be needed.

any 16cm speakers will do without any cutting or modification ,,, it just a matter of screwing them out & fit the new ones in .. as u might need to drill new holes if the original ones are a bit out of range.

all the best

i thot i'd randomly chime in and say get 3 way speakers all around. 4 way if you're really into highs.
oh and good luck mounting them. If car manufactuers havent gotten a clue yet, it should be somewhat hard to mount your aftermarkets without them rattling.

the door panel is always fun! I havent taken apart the newer camry's but theres always one or two screws hidden.

if you need help, i can do a step by step photo instruction.. the hadrest part is removing it from the handle area because the handle itself is staionary and youhave to pry around a little to pop that out. and i got lucky and the car audio dealer im going through found a pair of 6!/2 to fit my front perfectly and doesnt rattle.. =D
