About to buy one of these Subs: 10
For my 06 Camry...

Just wondering how i would go with running power/signal cables under the plastic door sills.

I haven't had a good look at it yet, but if someone who has done it before has any tips on running the cables/removing plastic trim it would be much appreciated. Also if anyone has any specific tips on coming through the firewall that would be great too. but mostly just curious about running cables under the sills. thanks guys

 

Ok so i didnt realise how easy it was to remove the door sills... its just a matter of lifting them up till they pop out...

but it does look like a bit of a hassle to get through the firewall with the other wires :/

It would be hard if you don't have tools for that.

 

the right tools? for getting through the firewall or removing trim?

 

i did my friends 2012 corolla few months back and my 2007 accord last year and what i did was purchase the right kit and the will provide you a rubber grommet /round seal , confirm the diameter of the grommet and carefully drill a hole true the fire wall right next to the OEM harness , make sure it seal perfect .

 

Hey thanks mate... ill see if my wiring kit comes with a grommet and i might try that... otherwise i might see if i can find one at a local store...
