Default XM antenna and window tint,,,,,,,,

Hi all,
I did a quick search and didn't come up with an answer. I just had my windows tinted and now the XM is acting up. I live in a very hot part of Arizona, so we always tint our windows "very" dark. Limo in the rear and 15% on the front windows. Since I had them tinted, the satellite radio has been cutting in and out and "searching for signal". Not all the time, but a couple of times during a song. It's definitely not as good as before the tint job.
The windows were tinted when I bought the car, but it was scratched and I wanted it to be perfect. I also noticed the rear window was a couple of shades lighter than the side rear windows. I didn't think anything of this, but now I wonder if that's why.
Any input would be appreciated. Such as, where is the antenna for the XM? Can window tint have an affect?
2009 XLE, full Nav system. No mods other than the tint.
Thanks, Dora

Default Update to the story,,,,,

Just for information's sake,,,,,,,,
today I started looking around and realized there was an antenna mounted on the rear window deck inside the rear window. It is mounted on a small metal plate and is magnetically adhered. It appears to be an "add on" piece. Not sure if it's a factory upgrade or a true after market item.
What I do know is it was "defiantly" being interfered with by the window tint. It is Llumar brand window film. It offers 99.9% UV protection. I have read that it is a metallic based product. I also read that this product "can" interfere with a radio or satellite signal. I'm here to tell you that it definitely can interfere. The XM radio was practically unusable sense they did the tint.

So here is my solution. A picture is worth a thousand words,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
