Thoughts on headlights...
It's pretty simple what the toothpaste does. it DOES not take down the edges of the scratch. What it does much like a rubbing compond is mar's the surface around the scratch to even the scratch to the surface that it is in. So in turn you are not removeing a scratch or in the head light case cleaning the "haze". What is actually happening is a layer of the material around the scratch or what not is being removed.
toothpaste might be the next duct tape if it can really do all this stuff

I gave that a try and it worked considerably but they didnt impress me like I expected. Either way, Im lookin into some blackhouse headlights to replace them
