Good Morning Just finished up swapping out a 2.4L engine from my 02 Camry with an engine out of an 06 Camry. Runs good, but the 06 doesn't have the same knock sensor location and plug is different. Has anyone relocated a knock sensor or have a fix?

 

Where is the old and new engine sensor? Under exhaust manifold?

Is the replacement engine sensor bolt-on and the old engine screw in?

The wiring is shielded thus if needing to extend the wire needs to be shielded.

The wiring harness plug pins may be removable thus might be able to swap out plugs.
