Default 05 Camry 2.4 Engine Transmission Swap with 2002 Camry 2.4?

My 05 camry (245K miles) has engine troubles. I purchased a complete 02 camry 2.4 parts car with 94K miles. The donor was wrecked.

I think the transmissions are slightly different between the 02-04 and the 05 camry?

Can I simply swap out the entire sub frame including engine, transmission, CV shafts, suspension, etc?

The transmission is electronically shifted. Could I swap out the computer from the donor car and be up and going?

If not can I use the 02 sub frame with 02 motor and suspension with my 05 transmission?

I am hopeful to split the engine and transmission when out of the car and replace the oil seals on the block and transmission. Also replace a few things like thermostat, hoses, belt, and water pump. and have a plug and play type of swap.

The 05 has a 5 speed trans, different throttle body.

04 has different TPS, generator, knock sensor, installation of fuel cut off, revised EVAP system.

Suggest doing an internet search on parts for 02 and 05 (sensors, etc) and determining which are same part number. Then swapping those that are not.

The 02-05 are of the same generation of Camry thus most parts should be the same.
