Post 1991 camry cruise control issue

I recently changed the Nipondenso alternator on a 1991 Camry. Now the cruise control wont work (actually it seems to work backwards). Would pass on the love if someone could help......

Try the following:

Turn ign on
Turn set/coast switch on and keep on
Push main switch on
Turn set/coast switch off
Turn set/coast switch on-Watch cruise control light. Light should blink 2 times, pause, 2 times then repeat if switch system is normal.

Perform the next test below:

When driving at 10 mph or less press set/coast switch 3 times in 2 seconds then watch cruise indicator light. If all systems are normal light will flash at a constant rate. If not light will flash, then pause, then flash again, then repeat the sequence of flashes and pauses. Record number of number flashes/pause/number of flashes.

Good try Joey, that one would work because of the adjusting the main switch, I'm thinking of resetting the system by that everything back to zero but there are other options for sure.
