Default 2000 camry Backfiring out airbox after plug and lead change

Hey hey .
so I've got a 2000 camry touring v6 1mz-fe here that ive just changed the plugs and leads from the coil packs to the rear plugs
(had the right tools so didn't need to remove anything other then plugs and leads ,no removal of intake or anything just plugs and leads )
after fitment I started the car and took it for a drive to here what sounded like a clunking under load here and there.
got home and gave it a rev with the bonnet open to find its actually backfiring out the airbox ..

My question is ......
1 . Is there a way to find out if its one of the coil packs that's fried without having access to a obd scanner ?
2. Am I even looking in the right direction for the problem
3. If there's already a post on this could i get a link to it as I couldn't find anything unfortunately whilst looking on here .

Cheers for any advice in advance

Why did you change the plugs and leads?

Did you somehow swap plug wires between cylinders?

Was the correct spark plug used?

Use an ohm meter to check resistance of the coil pack terminals and compare to the other pack that assume is OK.
