03 Camry, 2.4L, 4 cyl, 260,000mi. Recently had trouble with low idle and running rough. P0301, p0304, and p1128. Changed plugs and cleaned TB and it runs perfectly, all codes cleared. Then today I turned on the a/c. It instantly went back to running rough. Turn a/c off... perfect. So far it's not generating any codes and only happens when I run the a/c.(I may not have run the a/c long enough to trigger a code?). Without the air on it runs like brand new. I'm at a loss from this point. Any ideas?

 

Did you clear the codes or did they clear themselves?

 

I disconnected the battery when I pulled the throttle body and plugs. Pretty sure that cleared the codes.

 

Codes may come back. Each code has a different test cycle(s). Can take a while for the tests to complete.

Determine if the AC compressor is OK and not starting to freeze up.
