I am about to perform a transmission drain and fill and I need to raise the car completely so that the car is level. I planned on placing a jack stand under each pinch weld point as is recommended. However, I do not know with certainty where is the rear jack lift point on the XLE. On a regular 2008 XL, there is a raised, jack lift point/bump near the center at the rear of the vehicle, which I believe is on the rear crossbeam. However, on the 2008 XLE V6, this center bump is still there, but it is blocked by a metal bracket (see V-shaped bracket/brace in photo). Does anyone know what other viable options there are to lift the rear 100% so that I can place the jack stands at their respective pinch weld points? See the V-shaped brace/bracket that is covering what normally would be a rear center jack lift point on an XL. This is an XLE with two mufflers.
