I have a switch in my 2012 Camry LE that works sometimes and I need to replace it but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the overhead mapping light console to get to the switch. Can anyone give me some instructions as to how to remove the panel.thanks

 

Typically these things are held in by plastic clips requiring inserting a flat bladed screw driver or mold remover (thin piece of plastic with round edges) to unlock. The tool goes between the outer edge of housing and headliner. The unlocked clip (and edge) is pulled slightly down then another clip unlocked. The opposite side has hook or other design to hold its end up.

The switch console appears to have 3 clips located across the top of housing.

 

I have sunroof switch issue on 2012 Camry dealer has price of 400$ to replace switch.
Is this a dyi or does need reprogramming
