Has anybody installed remote start on 12' Camry with smart key? Dealer wants $200 to install. Im sure it just plugs in under dash. No seperate fob is needed.

 

you can install the componets yourself,but still have to get the dealer to program it.unless you really enjoy the aspect of diy,just let the daeler do it. that way you drop it off and pick it up later with the total job completed. $200.00 is not a bad price, i put mine in,then had to pay dealer $150 to progam. would have jumped on $ 200.00 total install, now that i now the diy end of it,then pay for programming.
