well at 290,xxx miles on my 89 I needed a tranny( an A140E) and some of you helped out big time so thanks, also the used route work great.
I did find out what killed the tranny it was someone before me put engine oil in the tranny and killed it. when I drained it I found out what was in it.
SO thanks all that helped.
and yes on the used tranny I got the extended warranty 13 months it was only 25 bucks more...

Suggest in the future completely changing the trans fluid every 30K miles. There should be some posts at this site and on the internet about how to do a complete change.
