Het there everyone. I have an automatic 2001 camry. I want to swap out my engine as well as convert my car to a standard. What are my options for engines I can drop in this car. I am looking at building a sleeper.

 

The engines options were the 5S-FE 4 cylinder or 1MZ-FE V-6.

The 4-cylinder uses a S-51 trans.

The V-6 a E-153 trans.

Your best approach is to find a wrecked donor car and swap parts.

You will need an engine computer that matches the engine and trans type.
