1997 Camry LE; 6 cyc. Ignition key was problematic to turn to "Start". Made a new key and that worked for a while. Now it won't turn to start. Sprayed cleaner and new lubricant, but its must be mechanical at this point. Toyota Manual doesn't address removing ignitiion cylinder. Removed cover and trim. Don't know how to get out the cylinder or what the fix might be.

 

Hi did you find out how to take the switch out?
I need to also take mine out as was looking for info on removing it
