hi i have a 1993 camrys with a 3.0lt v6 auto car is over heating and cant not locate the thermostat i have taken off the bottom hose housing at the motor it wasnt there and the top hose housing at the motor and wasnt there question is do they have a thermostat or is it just missing cheers kevin

 

the thermostat is near the water pump in the housing close to the lower hose...

 

If you buy a 180 degree thermostat, the thermostat will open sooner than 195 degree will. If we have a problem overheating car we install a lower degree thermo. with all that said 180.
