"Maintenance required" message
Got my second "Maintenance required" light about a week ago (the first time I got this message was back in 2017). This time my odometer was at 64,334. I shopped around and found one Toyota dealership in my area that was offering a synthetic oil change and filter, tire rotation and a battery, coolant and wiper inspection for a total of $59.99.
I hate waiting around in a dealership lounge area. I booked an appointment for today at 7:30am. I suspected that a very early appointment will have me in and out really quickly. I was right. From now on I will be booking 7:30am appointments.
Finally, when I paid my bill at the dealership, I liked the Maintenance Inspection Form they give you, listing all the things that they checked in the car.
And there was a nice, final touch. They gave me a coupon for a free "Express Car Wash" at a ScrubaDub (the car wash company has different locations in Massachusetts).
