Default Need help, shocks, and struts.

I have a 91 Camry DX four door car. And it needs to shocks and struts. Will someone let me know what kind of shocks and struts I should get? How many? I'm very dumb to this? And where is a good place for decent installation?

Call around to local shops and ask for a quote. Your car (I'm pretty sure) has struts, four of them, one for each wheel. Shocks are typically found on the rear wheels of trucks. A good shop would probably do all four for about $400-500.
Out of curiosity, how do you know you need struts?
