Default Need new radiator for 88 5spd. 4 cyl.

My 88 4 cyl. wagon has been getting too warm in 90+ temps. at 70-75mph with a/c on. Current rad. is a 1 row with 66K on it. Will a 2 row rad. for an automatic fit in my 5 spd. wagon? I've been told the 2 row is wider and won't fit. Any help I can get will help. I'm in far southwest TX.

Where is the temp gauge needle when "to warm?"

Parts outlets offer 2 row for this year and engine.

About the 3/4 mark. What parts outlets Joey since you mentioned it? I'd prefer a 2 row.

Try rockauto.com.

Have you checked the cars coolant system? A proper working coolant system should handle hot weather without increasing coolant temp enough to move gauge needle from normal.

Here's an OEM Toyota parts listing page showing Radiator options based on your model. You can narrow down the results by entering your VIN on the page. Hope this helps you find your radiator assembly https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/part...html?PNC=16400
