Oil Leak

Default Oil Leak

Hi my 94 2.2 litre camry keeps dropping all its oil and i cant seem to find the leak anywhere. Ive degressed the motor about 6 times and still no luck anyhelp would be great thanks.

Common areas of leakage:

Valve cover, down the back of engine.

Distributor housing and shaft seals.

Cam, crank, oil pump seal. Look below the timing cover.
Note: if oil pump seal, look for dripping when engine running from lower fire side of cover. This can be a very bad leak!

If the engine has an oil cooler, the seal between the coolant mount and engine block.

Also make sure the oil is not going out the tell pipe.
