Default Rear ABS Sensor

Need help with replacing the left rear abs sensor. I see where it is on the bottom of the strut, where does it go after it enters into the fenderwell. I was replacing the strut and let the wire get stretched out and now I have the ABS light on, on the dash. Any help would be appreciated. The car is a 98 Camry.

Isn't there a connector at the sensor. Is more likely that the small pins in the connector are not making a good contact. Unplug the connector and check the resistance across the sensor Then make sure the female pins are not spread.

How do I get to the other end, the end that goes into the fenderwell?

You need to remove the lower rear seat cushion. It pulls up from the front, then can be slide forward. Then remove the upper seat cushion held in place by bolts.

The plug should be visible.

Thanks I'll try that this weekend and see what happens and I'll let you know.
