Default 99le ABS sensor replacement

Hello everyone. Does anyone know if the left rear ABS sensor from a 98 is comparable with my 99? The wires came out and a local junkyard has one from a 98for cheap. Also, any advise on that repair?

I know you posted this a while ago but the part and the car are compatible. I need to change my right rear as well on my 99 but I haven't yet so I can't give you the full ins and outs of the job, usually it's bolt off, unplug then bolt on and plug and go

Thanks for the tip. I actually did the job. I ended up getting a new sensor on ebay motors for $15 and it worked like a charm. The installation wasn't complicated necessarily, but I did have to take the old one out in pieces and lubricate the o-rings to get the new one in. The corrosion was pretty bad in that area.

I hate to be a pain in your *** but do you think you can PM me a step by step for that including any materials I'll need? I just went your route and bought one for my right rear and I just don't want to screw my car up.
