Default Recommendations for removing superficial scratches?

I have some superficial but unsightly scratches on a 2007 XLE. See this link for an example:

What's the best way to get rid of them?

repainting it would help it looks new, I think that's the only solution.

This issue has come up at the Toyotanation website, suggest doing a history search at the site on this subject.

Whatever you do, read up first!

Then use the chosen method at a chassis location where if problems they will not be noticed.
