Default 1990 Camry Dx Window issue

Hey guys,
So hears my story. I acquired a 1990 Toyota Camry dx auto with 99,000 miles around Sept of 2018. I was told from the beginning that the driver side window controls didn't work. Since it was winter I didn't really care but its getting warmer and I'm trying to fix it.
All the windows work on the car but can only be controlled by leaning over and using the switch on the passenger doors. The lock button does work but has the problem of whenever I push to lock the car the button locks and immediately unlocks the car. Frustrating!
I have done some research and here are the things I have checked.

Checked Breakers to see if one was flipped: None were.
Checked wiring going from door to window control unit: No cracks or issues there.
Checked fuse box under dash for any issues: nothing apparent

I'm leaning toward it being a bad control unit on the switches themselves but wanted to hear what everyone thought before I got a new one.
Thanks!

Check the wiring at the drivers door window switch. Make sure the blue wire is getting 12v.

The individual passenger window switches are powered separately not through the drivers control switch. This can explain why they work and the driver door control switches do not.

Both door and individuals switches receive power from the same relay. If one works then power is past this relay.
