1999 Camry LE - Fan works Only on HI speed
My 1999 Camry LE sedan Fan works only on HI speed.
1) Turned fan on yesterday at my usual Lo or Medium-Lo setting and NO Fan.
2) Switched to next setting, Medium-High and it worked for about 3-5 min. and suddenly the fan stopped.
3) Switched to HI Speed and is working except for the excessive wind noise associated with the full blast setting.
Note, the panel lights behind the fan, mode, and temp settings have gone out. AC light/compressor appears to be working in the 3 non-working speeds (lo, med-lo, med-hi) as air flows in cold when vent is open.
Since the fan is working, I suspect this is not a fan issue but an electrical problem of some kind. What unit controls the fan (non-Hi) settings and the panel light(s)? I am a 'do it yourselfer' when possible.
