Default 2012 SE V6 speed limiter

So I hit a stretch of road today early that was completely empty of traffic, and to my surprise I found out the Camry is limited to 130mph.

I was at least hoping they would let it go to 155 to keep up with the B&B crowd.

Is there a way to bump that up from 130? If so will an aftermarket programmer do it, or is this a dealer only fix?

Might ask at the Toyotanation website in appropriate section.

There are some aftermarket devices on the internet claiming to plug into a Toyota wiring harness to fool the computer into allowing a higher MPH.

Of course it is illegal to speed and hazardous. Check your tires speed rating as you don't want to blow a tire. And if a dealer found out they would void at least the engine portion of the warranty, maybe more.

Why would you even want to go faster than that on public roads? Can you imagine the consequences if you were caught by the police? I'm pretty sure they'd revoke your license. Are you interested in going faster because you want to run it at the track? Sorry, not trying to be preachy. I'm actually kind of curious.
